Alignment in the Public Library

Many of you know, I’m a bit woo-woo… to put it mildly.

So, at the library the other morning, I was going to pick up a book about Feng Shui. And it is in my faaaaaavourite section of the library. The 133’s. It is where you can find books about crystals, tarot, witchcraft, astrology… You get the woo-woo idea.

I started looking and a woman was there as well. There aren’t usually many people in this section. If there are, they usually run away because god-forbid they would be caught looking at the ‘New Age’ section.

But we started talking. She started asking me about my thoughts and my path and what I was looking up. She was lovely and honest. And she said something that I had forgotten about.

It’s all about being ‘in alignment’.

Yes! This is something I forget all the time. We shared a brief few minutes discussing what that meant to each of us. We exchanged phone numbers and went our separate ways.

I think it’s safe to say we were both there at the same time because we both needed to be reminded of our own personal alignments.

So, what does it mean to be in alignment? It look like something different to every single person, but the idea is usually the same.

Being present. Being open. Being willing. Being connected to things outside of ourselves and being connected within ourselves – all at the same time. For me it’s the old ‘As above, so below’ idea.

I am a strong believer in synchronicity and fate and all things of this nature. The Universe, Source, God, Goddess, whatever lens you view it through, reminds us, that we are all connected in some way or another and this morning reminded me of that. People come in and out of our lives to teach us, show us, learn from us, and share in experiences to make our own lives richer.

It’s something to ponder. Where do you believe the Universe has guided you? Can you get out of your own way and your own mind to realise when it happens?

Let me know! I love hearing stories and having discussions about the way the Universe works.

Cool beans! And have an awesome week!

Arohanui my darlings!
